I received a wonderful email from a blog friend. She asked if I was still around since she hasn't seen anything for a long time. That was such a surprise and so sweet. So, here I am!
So I've been doing a lot of paper piecing lately because I've been sitting in doctors offices a lot lately. Things are finally seeming to come under control but then it's almost winter and there's nothing better than sitting on the couch with the kids and sewing.
This is the quilt I've been working on lately. I'm currently hand quilting it. It's not so bad actually. But I may be having some pain in my wrist from it. Or the pain could be from the new meds I'm on. Either way I'm persevering, however taking it a bit slower.
The back is all purple. It just seemed to fit with the front. I'm still looking for the right binding.
I'll be back soon(er) than last time. Hope you've all been well. :)

It's so good to see you back! I have fibromyalgia and am unable to do hand quilting and haven't been brave enough to do a paper piecing. Yours looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Stitches!
ReplyDeleteAre you still in England or ??? Sorry to hear about the pain in your hands; I have RA so I understand. Love the quilt!
ReplyDeleteYour stars are so pretty. I'm glad you were able to post this even though blogging has become difficult. I love to see other people's work!
ReplyDeleteI have two kiddos, 3 and 1, and I haven't had time to do much for myself until recently. Also I never get on the computer, but today I was checking in on the blogs that I follow and thought- "wait, where did she go!"
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are back even if intermittently.
